What are the electrical requirements?
To ensure safe and proper operation, please share these specifications with your licensed electrician before installation:
- Dedicated 240V (220–240 V) / 50-amp circuit
- NEMA 14-50R outlet (4-prong, 240 V, 50 A — same style as RV/EV chargers)
- Installed by a licensed electrician
- 50A double-pole breaker with #6 AWG copper wire minimum
- Compatible with the sauna’s NEMA 14-50P male plug

How much does delivery and assembly cost?
Nothing at all—it’s included.
Unlike most online sauna sellers and local contractors, SaunaFlo provides free delivery and free professional assembly anywhere from Palm Beach to Homestead. Our team hand-builds each sauna in Florida and personally installs it at your home, leaving no pallets, debris, or mess behind.
The only additional expense is your electrical hookup, which must be completed by your licensed electrician.
Do you offer infrared saunas?
We don’t—and that’s intentional.
SaunaFlo specializes exclusively in traditional Finnish-style saunas, which operate between 160°F and 205°F and offer the full spectrum of benefits associated with high heat. You can also add humidity by pouring water over the sauna stones.
Infrared saunas typically operate around 120°F–140°F, providing a very different experience and a milder heat profile. While some enjoy infrared saunas, we focus on traditional saunas because they deliver a more complete, time-tested wellness effect.
How long does it take to heat up?
Most saunas reach their ideal temperature in 45 to 60 minutes, depending on outdoor conditions and your preferred heat level. Once warmed, they maintain temperature effortlessly.
